April, 1982 JCC Annual Meeting and Election Bob Abel, President of the Jewish Community Center, has announced the date of the Center’s Annual Meeting. “April 25, at 7:30 p.m. will be one of the most important meetings this Jewish Community Center has ever held, ” said Abel. He continued to say “we will be asking our members to vote on the Founda tion Joint Venture and Lease Agreements, which after being ap proved will allow the Center to of- hcially become part of the Com munity Project.” Because of the importance of these documents, a synopsis will be mail ed to members. This synopsis will highlight the major issues of the agreements as they concern the center. Additionally, many of the people who have been working on the Pro ject for the last two years will be in attendance to answer questions. The second function of the Annual Meeting will be to elect the Officers and Board of the Center for 1982-1983. The slate includes: Robert Abel, President; Harold Josephson, Ed Warshawksy and Alan Levinson, Vice Presidents; Robert Stein, Treasurer; Paula Musler, Recording Secretary; Linda Greenfeld, Cor responding Secretary. The following individuals are nominated as Board Members-at- Large: for three (3) year terms, Her man Blumenthal, Karen Fox, Peggy Gartner, Ann Langman, Miles Levine, Lynne Sheffer and Rozanne Sklar. To fill unexpired terms presently available: two (2) year terms, Larry Gerber; one (1) year term, Betsy Lewis and David Rousso. Additionally. Dr. Mark Perlin has been appointed to the Board for a one (1) year term.
