Page 14-THE NEWS-April, 1982 Purim Blast The Lubavitch, N.C. under the direction of Rabbi Yossi Groner, sponsored a very successful “Purim Blast” at the Little Theatre on March 7. It was a filled-to- capacity crowd; in fact it was SRO. Children, parents and grandparents delighted to the antics of Megillah gorilla, the clowns, puppets and songs and games led by Rabbi Groner’s assistants; New Yorkers, Label Baumgarten and Mendy Dubrawsky.^The queen was Allison Gaynor and the king, Dennis Kingberg. Balloons, prizes, candy and Shaloch Monos were given to the children. Lunch was provided and microwave ovens were busy warming up hot dogs, knishes and Hamantashen for the hungry crowd. Sunday school children were bussed from both Tem ple Israel and Temple Beth El after their regular school session. Everyone was excited about this first “Purim Blast” and hopefully it will be repeated next year. One word of advice — a larger place will be needed after the word gets out about this one to all those who did not attend! photos/Bruce Schoenes HAPPY PASSOVER Al Manch f) «IEW(|XRS HAPPY PESACH Mr. £r Mrs. Aaron Gleiberman fir Family PASSOVER GREETINGS Gloria, Bill, Art fir Phil Goldberg Passover Greetings from th« ASRAEL Family PasMver OMNIBUS i4rleiie A Mike Shmpirm HAPPY PASSOVER Passover Holiday Qroatinga from Joyce ft Arthur Goodman fir Family Happy Passover Eleanor £r Mort Turk Passover Greetings to our Friends fir Family Pat, David, Rodney, Evin fir Seth Somerstein HAPPY PESACH Bertha & Boris Wojnowich Happy Passover Judy, Steven, Missy Cr Benjy Sutker
