Page 11-THE NEWS June/July, 1982 Fall Soccer - Register Now This year the JCC will compete in the METH ODIST HOME PARK LEAGUE - one of Charlotte’s best Youth Soc- cer Programs. The Methodist Home Park League, a division of Charlotte Parks and Recrea tion, has a well established soccer program with more than 35 teams entered to play each season. The JCC is very fortunate to be able to participate in their program this year. The league philosophy focuses on the importance of learning the fundamental skills of soccer and team sportsmanship. All games will be played on the fields at the Methodist Home Park or at Garinger High School. We will enter teams in the following' age divisions: 7&8 9& 10 11&12 . 13& 14 If you are interested in having your child(ren) par ticipate in our soccer pro gram, please complete the form below and mail it NO LATER THAN JULY 12TH. Each week the group will venture out for an exciting day trip. This summer the program will also include a LEADERSHIP TRAINING WORKSHOP and a special INTERNSHIP SESSION with our summer day camp. In all Center programs primary interest is the development of the child as an in dividual and as a group member relating to others. In addition to general camp staff, specialty counselors are being hired to teach campers in the specified area of expertise.
