A very important and rele vant topic which touches all of us will be presented at the Jewish Community Center on November 7 at 8 p.m. CRT and the Community Relations Committee of the Charlotte Jewish Federation are honored to present a panel discussion on the Mid east with such notable panelists as Dr. Sanford Sil* berburg of Catawba College, Dr. Herbert Bodman of UNC-CH, and Rabbi Robert Seigel' of Temple Beth Shalom. Moderator will be Marvin Bienstock, Ex ecutive Director of the Charlotte Jewish Federation and the Foundation of the Jewish Community. Dr. Silberburg is Chair man of the Political Science Department at Catawba Col lege and has a Ph.D. in In ternational Relations. Dr. Bodman is a professor in the history department at UNC- CH. Rabbi Seigel has exper ience in both congregational and youth work, and is cert ified in social work in South Carolina and Illinois. Mr. Bienstock holds degrees in social work, psychology and sociology. He has worked in Charlotte for the past seven years as Executive Director of the Jewish Federation and now also of the Foundation. He was the former executive director of the Jewish Com munity Center. He is an ac tive spokesman in the com munity on issues affecting the Jewish people.
