Vick Creative PI; tor, and Jud^ are giving y( love and s{ the JCC’ Playgroup is Vicki, with Howie Lintz and Ashlie Swift. Adult Classes This Fall has been a busy season for the Adult Depart- ment. Workout! And Aerobics began in early September. They’ve almost completed their first ses sions and are presently registering for second ses sion classes. Reconsidering Commitment - the one ses sion workshop dealing with surviving to thriving in the marriage game was very suc cessful. Adult Creative Sewing, Acting, Computers and Self Defense for Women began in October and once again the JCC is a very busy place with many people coming and going for their classes. Several classes are still registering, some to begin in late October, others in November. You still have time to register for the November classes if you don’t delay. “Cooking Italian” to be held on Wednesday, November 10 and 17, and “Successful Images for Your Individual Lifestyles” to be held on Monday, November 8, 15, 27, and 29 are in the final stages of registration. If you are interested in either class, call the JCC (366-0357) immeditely. CHAI October 4 was registration day for the Chai Group’s Fall quarter through Central Piedmont Community Col lege. Judy Tager is teaching Human Relations and after only one session the response to the course was very enthusiastic. After class, the Chai Group discussed plans for this quarter for Monday afternoon programming, plans for a trip they would like to take probably in the spring and several other business matters. They then participated in a transport ation needs survey which Lou Albert and Sara Sch- reibman explained and helped them complete. The end of the busy day was the celebration of the September birthdays in the group: Kate Kalmeyer and Annie Gore- lick. Evelyn Berger provided this month’s birthday cake in honor of her mother, Ann Salsburg”s 90th birthday. On October 11 after their H.R. class the Chai Group went to SouthPark for lunch and then on to see “Yes, Giorgio” at the SouthPark Cinema. October 18 the Chai Group played Bingo after their class, lunch and a brief meeting. Paul Levy, the JCC’s regular Bingo caller, graciously agreed to come and call the exciting games of Bingo for the group.
