Creative Playgroup
Creative Playgroup is in
full swing for the new year.
The young children involved
are having a wonderful time
getting to know “Mr.
Snowman” up on our wall.
Our mornings are full with
music and rhythms, reading
stories, and playing with all
the toys.
Stop by to see us and come
meet June Carson, our new
aide. June comes to us from
the CPCC Child Develop
ment Program. She is full of
enthusiasm and most eager
to meet all the children.
As always, we are willing
to accept donations of toys to
enhance our program. We’d
especially like to set up a
“housekeeping” corner — so
a toy stove, sink,
refrigerator, pots and pans,
and dishes would be ap
preciated. A rocking chair
would be a nice addition
also.
Our plans for the after
noon program are still in the
developing stages. Watch the
newspaper for further in
formation.
A reminder of our new for
mat: Monday mornings have
been eliminated from the
schedule. Tuesdays, the age
range has been expanded to
include those children 4 mon
ths through 3 years.
Our regular hours are
9:15am to 1:15pm, Tuesdays
through Fridays.
Wednesdays through
Fridays the age range is 6
months through 3 years.
Costs for the morning are $5
for Center members and
$7.50 for non-members.
There is a 10% discount for
regular users.
And Remember —
Playgroup has a limited
number of openings - so call
Vicki Hopkins in the morn
ings (366-1115) and early in
the month, week, or day to
sign up!
Substitute, teachers needed for Creative
Playgroup. If interested in getting on the list, call
Vicki at 366-1115.
