He started his career in a swamp and it was practically aW downhill after that. Chased out of town by an army without enough time to bake his bread, he had sand in his shoes for 40 years looking for a place to live. And he survived a burning bush and a mutiny by His followers. Despite his troubles, he was able to give something, deliverance and the “Ten Com mandments,” for starters. When we contact you to make your pledge for the 1986 Jewish Welfare Fund Campaign, we might hear that you have payments on your new car, that you’ve just done some redecorating, that you’ve got two kids in college right now, that your business is ju.st coming back, that you’ve just moved into a new office.
