Beth El*s Bintel Brief
The **Sting^* Is Coming
The big fun event for this
month is the Temple’s first
annual “Sting.” The affair
is open to the public. The
date is April 12 at 8 p.m. in
Fellowship Hall. There will be
a Casino aura with play
money, auctions, door prizes,
dessert and coffee. Food and
drink available. All this in a
1920s setting. Tickets may be
purchased in advance for $8
per person; $10 at the door.
Prizes to be auctioned are fan
tastic. Among them are airline
tickets, weekends, Saturday
night “on the town,” etc.
A Purim Family Service and
dinner was held on Friday,
March 21. The regular Temple
Passover Seder will be held on
Wednesday, April 23.
The monthly Sisterhood
luncheon featured a Hawaiian
setting, leading up to the an
nouncement of Vivian M allins
as the winner of the “Dream
Vacation to Hawaii” raffle. At
the meeting the officers for the
coming year were elected.
Shirley Fytelson will serve as
Sisterhood president.

Young Couples
Club To Hold
Third Seder
The Young Couples Club’s
March outing was a bowling
and pizza party. Professional
bowlers we were not, but a
good time was had by all. The
next event is an annual Seder.
The event will be held on April
26. Reservations are needed
immediately if you would like
to attend. Please call Becky
and Scott Goodman, 372-4695,
or Linda and Trevor Goldberg,
552-7304.
Introducing the
Creative Connection
The Creative Connection is a business run and operated out
of Betsy Klein’s home, with all proceeds going to The Charlotte
Jewish Federation. The main focus of the shop is to bring out
the fun and creativity in all of us through rubber stamp art and
a wide range of fun items for ages 3-90!
To leam how to use rubber stamps as a graphic arts form and
to have loads of fun, Betsy holds regular “stamp camps” for
both kids and adults. She also offers birthday party stamp
camps. The cost is $8 per “camper” which includes all materials
plus a free stamp of your choice.
Experience the fun and join her at the open house on April
6 or call her at 542-9421 for more information.
