Temple Israel Sisterhood To Hold Annual Art Auction Temple Israel Sisterhood will hold its annual art auction Feb. 22,1987 at Shalom Park. European American Art of New York City has been con tracted to supervise the pro ceedings. A variety of art will be on display, including the classics, contemporary, originals and lithographs. Many moderately priced pieces will be available. Art works can be viewed beginning at 6:30 p.m., at which time wine and cheese will be served. The bidding will begin at 7:30 p.m. This auction proves to be excellent opportunity for serious art collectors as well as for those people who may just be looking for a pretty pain ting. The event is co-chaired by Mary Wojnowich, Berta Kaplan, Lina Levine and Lot tie Goldman. Such contem porary bioethical topics as pa tients’ rights and health-care providers’ duties, allocation of scarce and expensive medical resources, and issues of death and dying will be the focus of discussion throughout the weekend. His work includes articles with such provocative titles as ‘‘Benevolent Deception in Family Medicine" and “Schizophrenese as Semiosis.” Professor Lincourt, whose approach is practical and “case-oriented,” will offer two presentations — one on Friday evening following Shabbat Services and the second on Saturday afternoon preceding a buffet supper. A series of roundtable discussions, in which participants will work together to resolve some knot ty bioethical dilemmas, are also planned for Saturday afternoon following services and lunch.
