A year of celebration activities are being planned by “National” in honor of BBW’s many achieve ments since its inception. A membership brunch was held at President Beth Linder- man’s home on July 29. Pro spective members, as they en joyed refreshments, learned more about BBW, its pro grams and CVS activities. Saturday, August 8 at 7:30 p.m. is our annual pool party to be held at the home of Reg gie and Myron Wittlin. We will enjoy pizza, drinks and dancing. Our July program featured brunch at Charlotte Memorial Hospital followed by an infor mative slide show and tour of MMAE's Inn-Mecklenburg Medical Auxiliary Endow ment. MMAE’s Inn is a residential home where out-of- town family members can stay while their loved ones are hospitalized. Charlotte Chapter members will give volunteer time at the Inn act ing as hostesses, and collec ting canned and paper goods for use by the guests.
