Page 20-THE NEWS-September, 1987 Our Organizations Charlotte Chapter B*nai BVith Women ADL Memo/Date Books ADL Memo/Date Books were distributed to all area school principals in August. These books, put out by B’nai B’rith’s Anti-Defamation League, help teachers to plan for their school year. Ideally, no major tests or events will be scheduled on Jewish holidays. If you are interested in buy ing one for yourself, please call Esther Gold, 364-2958. Tape-A-Tale Starting at the September general meeting, a Tape-A- Tale box labeled “Blank/Com pleted” will be available at the reservation desk for anyone in terested in taping stories or songs for children in the local hospitals. This is a national project adopted locally where mem bers record short stories, poems or music that are presented with tape recorders to the pediatric wards in local hospitals. These tapes are used during quiet times for the children confined to bed or while waiting for tests. Once a tape is complete (on both sides), just return it to the “Complete” box at the next genergd meeting. This is truly a no-effort way to help a sick child through a rough time. msD "13 custom print invitations and accessories PAPERTOWN 4426 E. Independence Blvd. 515 N.
