Seventy-two women, repre senting sisterhoods from four states and the District of Col umbia, met in Charlotte for a weekend of sharing a wide range of ideas, materials and personal development in Sis terhood — the backbone of many congregations. The convention, held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, was hosted by Beth El V'Shalom Sisterho^. It was successful mainly because of Honey Kridel, TBEV’s sisterhood president, and Cochair Gert Rosenberger, Hospitality Chair Anita Berkowitz, Oneg Shabbat Chair Brenda Patten, Packets Chair Fran Lyons, Sunday Brunch Chair Shirley Fytelson, Registration Chair Aileen Lorber, Decorations Chair Iris Friedlander, Shalom Park Chair Merle Purvis, Designers of 75th Anniver sary Cover Ruth Gould and Fran Lyons; Pat Fearon. The theme “75 Years of Vi sion and Action — Looking Toward the Future” was evi dent everywhere — in work shops, relaxed conversations in the hospitality suite, at Consolidated High School News Seven Consolidated High School students have been placed on the Honor Roll for the second time. They are: Jason Katz (8th grade); Brian Exelbierd, Dan Hirschman, Heath Prior and Seth Stein (9th grade); David Brenner and l^an Lucas (10th grade). These students all received a free movie pass for their ef forts. Those students who are placed on the Honor Roll all three sessions will be given a free ticket to Carowinds.
