Panelists were Rabbi Marc Wilson of Temple Israel and Rabbi Robert Seigel of Temple Beth El V’Shalom. Dr. Steve Fishman served as moderator. Over 250 people took this opportunity to per sonally meet with the mayor and discuss Jewish concerns about certain aspects of her administration, most notably the prayer breakfasts. Officers and Board Mem bers were installed in a ceremony held during Friday night services on September 30. Lou Meltzer, President of the Southeast Region of United Synagogues of Amer ica, was the installing officer. Upcoming Events The public is invited to the Ashendorf/Citron Memorial Concert on Sunday, December 4 at 8 p.m. Steven Haas, Marlene Fuerstman and Mark Tysinger wiU be the featured artists. Admission is free. The concert, in honor of the memory of Rosalie Citron Ashendorf and Samuel I. Citron, will be held in the I.D. Blumenthal Hall at Temple Israel, followed by a reception. • January 27-29,1989 are the dates for Temple Israel’s an nual Scholar-in-Residence weekend. Daniel Schorr, the distinguished broadcast jour nalist who is now Senior News Analyst for National Public Radio, is the guest Scholar.
