Page 25-THE NEWS-November, 1988 Temple Beth El V’Shalom Held Special Services for Succoth and Simchat Torah The first Tot Shabbat of the New Year was held during Simchat Torah. Children gathered around to hear the Torah read and they marched in a lively Hachafot pro cession behind the Torah, singing and clapping. These services are writ ten by Nina Haas, especially with the children in mind, and are led by Rabbi Robert Seigel and Steven Haas.
