June 1-3, Ana Resnik and
Lorrie Klemons attended the
Southeast District convention in
Ft. Lauderdale. Crown City
Chapter received the following
awards: completion of all goals
in membership and fundraising;
the Communtiy Service award
for the Forum on Pro-Choice-
Pro-Life (cosponsored with the
JCC).
ORT has over 1,000 chapters
across the U.S., being the van
guard of social and humanitar
ian action for over 60 years,
building schools and training
students in Jewish communities
around the world. Special em
phasis is being placed on this
training for all Soviet and Ethi
opian immigrants in the 120
schools in the ORT Israel Net
work, the ORT schools in New
York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
