Ms. Roiphe has written many novels including the 1970 best seller. Up the Sandbox under her former name of Anne Richardson, She has also written Seasons of Healing: Reflections on the Holocaust and Generation Without Memory: A Jewish Journey in Christian America. Her most recent book, If You Knew Me has been extremely well received. Ms. Roiphe is being cosponsored by Barnes & Nobel Bookstores. The Jewish Community Cen ter will offer transportation to the main library for this inter esting evening with a coffee and book signing to follow. Camp Barney Medintz To Hold Open House Camp Barney Medintz, summer resident camp of The Atlanta Jewish Community Center, will offer an exciting presentation in Charlotte on Wednesday, Jan, 19, at 7 p,m, at Shalom Park, Jim Mittenthal, M,S,W,, Camp director, will meet with new and returning families and show the camp’s new media production, answer questions pertaining to the 1994 summer season, and provide applications for registration.
