Amster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Amster of Rockaway, NJ
The future bride is the grand
daughter of Mrs. Beatrice Gold
berg of Las Vegas, Nev., and the
late Sidney Goldberg, and Mrs.
Bessie Isser of Miami Beach, FL„
and the late Jack Isser.
She is a graduate of the Uni
versity of North Carolina, Char
lotte, and earned a bachelor of arts
degree in communications. She is
a senior sales account representa
tive for the specialty sales and mar
keting division of Starbucks
Coffee.
The future bridegroom is the
grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Mel Silberman and Dr. Shoshana
Silberman of Princeton. The bride
is a graduate of Barnard College,
Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta
Kappa. Since college she was the
Artistic Director of the Women’s
Ensemble Theatre Company in
Philadelphia. In the Fall she will
enter the PhD program in theater at
Columbia University.
The groom is the son of Dr.
Saul Brenner and Martha Judith
Funt Brenner of Charlotte. He is a
graduate of the University of
Wiasonsin and attends the
Reconstructionist Rabbinical Col
lege near Philadelphia. He is Rabbi
of Congregation B’nai Abraham in
Bordertown, NJ. »
The couple honeymooned in
Puerto Rico. They live in
Bordertown.
Samuel Amster, formerly of
Verona, NJ, and Mrs. Betty Hirsch
of West Orange, NJ., and the late
Abraham Kresch.
He is a Cum Laude graduate
of Lafayette College in Easton, PA.,
and received his master’s degree in
business administration from
Emory University. He is an inter
national business development an
alyst at Southern Electric
International.
A May wedding is planned.
