Kristallnacht Commemoration
During the long weekend beginning November 9, 1995, the JCC is
pleased to have Dr. Marie Cedars in Charlotte. This scholar and artist
from Texas has made the study of Elie Wiesel her passion for m^y years.
She will be speaking in many forums about her artwork, Elie Wiesel and
Kristallnacht.
We encourage you to attend any and all parts of this program, as this
will be an informative and uplifting weekend.

Pre-school Winter
Camp-
Hanukkah & More...
A winter camp is being
planned from December 18-29 (ex
cluding December25) for 3 &4 year
olds. The camp will run from
9:00am to 1:00pm. All of the ac
tivities will revolve around cel
ebrating the festival of Hanukkah.
Children will be making menorahs,
decorating T-shirts and making
Hanukkah gifts. There will be
music, cooking activities (making
latkes) and activities in the gym
(Maccabee races). Come and join
the fun with your Mends in cel
ebrating the Festivals of Lights!

Cookbook Update
We have received many more
recipes for the cookbook but we are
only half of the way there. Keep
sending in as many recipes as you
can. We want to make this a very
special cookbook and we need your
help.
