WINTER SWIM TEAM
HORNET’S NEST SWIM LEAGUE
Ages: 5-18 years old
The JCC Swim Team is for swimmers 5*18 years old who want to
develop their skills in a fun and caring environment. We will em
phasize instruction, recreation, and finally, competition.
Who: Any child 5-18 years old who can swim 25 yards freestyle
and backstroke.
When: Practice begins Jan ?
Practice Schedule: Mon/Wed 6:00 - 7:00 pm and Sun 12:30 -
1:30 pm
Where: The League has teams from the JCC, Harris YMCA,
Simmons YMCA, Mecklenburg City Aquatic Center, Marion Diehl
Recreation Center, Park Road, YWCA, and Lake Norman YMCA.
Cost: $47 Members only including T-shirts and awards
SWIM THE JORDAN
Chart your way from the Dead Sea to the Sea of Galilee and find a
healthier you along the way! Get your personal mileage chart to keep
track of your laps whenever you swim. At the end of your trip, you will
be awarded an “I Swam the Jordan” T-shirt. Free members only.
