We can't wait to see and hear more next year! P/ease Wotc;The JCC Babysitting room will be changing its babysitting hours for the summer. The last day afternoon care will be provided is June 7 and will resume in the fall. The summer hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM, and Sunday from 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM. UPCOMING SENIOR PROGRAMS You Can Donate to the LJCC for FREE! You can now donate to the LJCC just by clicking your mouse. There is a new product called Good Search and it is free to use. Good Search is a special toolbar that functions with Google as a search engine. You simply download the free program for Internet Explorer and desig nate the UCC as your charity of choice. Every time you use the search engine, the UCC will earn $0.01. Over the course of a year, all of those clicks could add up to a significant amount. Presently, all proceeds are being designated for the support of the Maccabi Games. But don't stop there! Keep using Good Search to give to the UCC and make a difference! How to Use Good Search: 1. Go to the Good Search site: www.goodsearch.com/toolbars.aspx 2. Choose the option "download now" for your web browser 3. Download the Good Search toolbar towards the bottom of the page and follow the instructions 4. The next time you launch your browser, you will see the Good Search toolbar. Upcoming Sports Camps The Ethan Horten Football Camp Special guests: Mike Minter and a host of other Panther and former NFL Players June 11th - June 15th - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Ages: 5-8 years - Flag Football Ages: 9-14 years - Fundamentals Football Ethan Horten is the current President of the Youth Development Football League, a Kannapolis native, and a former NFL player with the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Raiders, and the Wash ington Redskins. Ethan and his staff will share their love and knowledge of the game everyday with your child. Camp will take place on the LJCC soccer field (Ostrow Family Fields). LJCC Members: $210 Non-Members: $250 Athletic Enhancement Sports Camps June 11th- June 15th - 9:00 am -4:00 pm August 20th - August 24th - 9:00am - 4:00pm Ages: 7-14 years (must be entering 2nd grade) Under the expert direction of Mike Hartman, former professional hockey player and independent fitness contractor with the LJCC, this camp is for boys and girls looking to improve their overall athletic abilities. All activities are designed to help participants attain their next level of athletic expertise. The focus will be on sports development, acceleration, explosiveness, and speed. UCC Members: $240/wk Non-Members: $285/wk Thursday, May 10,10:00 am Field Trip to Daniel Stowe Bo tanical Gardens. After touring the gardens we will eat lunch at Olive Garden. We wili return to the JCC by 3pm. Cost is $10 and includes admission and transportation to and from the JCC. Friday, May 11th, Noon Join the seniors for a delicious kosher Shabbat Picnic Lunch in the beautifui JCC Lerner Courtyard. Cost: $6.
