The Charlotte Jewish News - October 2007 - Page 3 The Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte is proud to announce Eric Lemer as the 2008 Annual Campaign Chair. When asked for a bio of him self, Eric replies, “My bio is quite simple; despite a college education, I peddle t-shirts and trinkets for a living.” However, when asked about his life, Eric’s belief is that he would rather be remembered for his philanthro py than for his business acu men. “It is not simply a privi lege and an opportunity but an obligation and responsibility to help maintain the agencies of the Jewish community here in Charlotte,” says Eric modestly. “I am confident that Eric will provide enormous help in both inspiring and engaging the new generation of leaders so we can respond to urgent needs, mobi lize our community when we face crises, and seize the oppor tunity to strengthen the Jewish community and the Jewish peo ple in Charlotte, in Israel, and throughout the world,” said Sue Worrel, Executive Director. Eric embarks on his new role by putting together a terrific and talented Campaign Cabinet.
