The Charlotte Jewish News -November 2007 - Page 13 The Jewish Preschool on Sardis Celebrates Simchat Torah The . children at The Jewish Preschool on Sardis ushered in the arrival of Simchat Torah with a day filled with fun. Wearing their handmade crowns and waving their beautiful flags, they played games, jumped in giant, inflatable castles (a special thanks goes to Y.E.S. - Your Event Source) and danced with the Torahs. Morahs Jayme Kreitman and Pessie Weiss brought their Judaica lessons out side as well with stories and activ ities, and Rabbi Weiss visited the children during the week to show them the Torah. Everyone did a mitzvah that day: to be happy on Simchat Torah. Annual Book Fair at the Jewish Preschool on Sardis The Jewish Preschool on Sardis is holding its annual Scholastic book fair November 5-9. Shop early for holiday gifts, buy books to donate to a child’s classroom or look for yourself All proceeds will benefit the school.
