the State of Israel, the Charlotte Jewish community is
offering special programs throughout 2007-2008.
Ranging from lectures, classes and photo exhibits to
music and dance performances, these programs
examine and celebrate the many facets of the Israeli CHARLOTTE

experience. The festivities will culminate with a
celebratory community-wide event for Israel’s 60* birthday in early May 2008.

Coming up in July of 2008,
the Jewish Federation of
Greater Charlotte is offering a
once in a lifetime opportunity
to bond and travel with a group
of women from our partnership
community in Hadera, Israel.
Equal groups of women
from both cities will join
together to experience five
days in Poland. We will then
travel to Israel together to be
hosted by our Hadera women.
The Charlotte women will also
spend time touring Jerusalem
before heading home.
