The Charlotte Jewish News - October 2008 - Page 15 :3 Women’s News On Power and Partnerships By Bunny Bramson, President, Charlotte Chapter of Hadassah The power of one is astonishing. We are continually awed by the unique and passionate commitment of individ ual Hadassah women, each offering her dis tinctive contribution to our success, each pro viding her matchless talents and insights adding to the ongoing via bility of our chapter. It is then that we begin to understand the power of one and the combined strength of the partnership — you and Hadassah. None of us exists in a vacuum. Bunny Bramson have We acknowledge how fortunate we are to share in the successes of our great Hadassah organization which provides opportu nities for each of us to enrich our own lives and also offers us the privi lege to make a difference in the lives of others. We recognize, too, that our financial obligations progressively increased. Given that we have greater needs, not only in our local communi ty but for our people in Israel, our National President has challenged each of us to make a spe- SAH cial commitment to further strengthen our projects and pro grams both domestically and in Israel. Imagine if every Life member and Associate made an additional contribution of just $100 - the cost of dinner for two, or a night at the movies with the family - we would demonstrate the stunning impact of the strength of one indi vidual and the power of the part nership by adding $30 mil lion to Hadassah’s income. Imagine if every member brought in just one new member, we would be an organization of 600,000. It’s a powerful combina tion. By taking action, each one of us has the power to change the dynamic of the moment and further strengthen Hadassah. At this time of year, we mark the birth of the world and a time of new beginnings. What will we make of this remarkable opportu nity for new beginnings? With your support and activism, the power of the individual and the strength of the partnership will be a catalyst for change. Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy and peaceful year. ^ 704.609.5639 BRUCE MEHLMAN BROKER, / REALTOR®QSC bmchlman@hclenadamsrcalfy.com YOUR. BUSINESS AND REFERRALS ARE APPRECIATED!
