The LJCC Presents:
The Butterfly Project
Zikaron VTikvah (Remembrance and Hope) is an artistic,
educational project serving as a powerful visual repre
sentation to remember the 1.5 million children who died
in the Holocaust, and honor the survivors. Thousands
of handmade ceramic butterflies from around the world
have been created and affixed to the walls of San Diego
Jewish Academy to teach children to remember the past.
From across the United States, we welcome the Butterfly
Project to Shalom Park. Be a part of this amazing proj
ect - we are looking for committee volunteers!
