We thank Helen and Ellen for continuing the two-year leadership cycle of the Roshim, and Penni Powell for her ongoing work with Social Action. Many thanks to our own Chicken Soup leader, Sharon Kugelmass, for serving up some of the best help our community could get in time of need. Havurat Tikvah looks forward to a new year with many opportu nities of offer our community services each month, and contin ues to offer a mix of tradition and modem approach to prayer and observance. This month’s service is on November 7 at 6:15 PM. Services are followed by a catered dinner, $12 for adult mem bers, $15 for adult non-members and all children under 13 are free. (Payment may be mailed in advance or paid online at the web site listed below.) If you arc not able to come to dinner but still wish to attend services, you do not need to make reservations. Our celebration of Shabbat will continue Saturday morning with traditional readings from the Beth Shalom Torah. We will have a Tot Shabbat service separate from the adult service.
