Through its annual Inclusion Shabbat, Chavurah Keshet, Temple Beth ETs gay-straight alliance, has been proactive in cre ating awareness of issues of inclu sion with regard to sexual orienta tion, socioeconomic status, mental and physical disability, and other areas. The goals of this year’s event include providing accurate information, dispelling myths and reducing the stigma that is often associated with mental illness. Temple Beth El strives to be a welcoming and supportive con gregation for all people, including those with mental illness and their caregivers. This year’s Inclusion Help The Chosen Attend The College They Have Chosen. Jews have always known the value of education. It’s an essential tool to maintain our strength as a people. The Jewish Educational Loan Fund helps Jewish students in need pay for college or other post-secondary school opportunities. Our interest-free loans “bridge the gap” between the financial aid students have received and the total amount they actually need to attend school.
