There is a tradi tion of fresh beginning with every new year. For us, it marks an opportunity to review how far we have come in our Hadassah year and a chance to look ahead as we engage our members and community in the events and programs for the coming months. Usually the new year brings a clean slate, but for Hadassah members, January also brings the opportunity to celebrate those things that that are a constant in our lives: * The thrill of helping to build a world class hospital. * The warmth of knowing that our Hadassah friendships will last a lifetime. * The joy of seeing young peo ple connect to Jewish life. * The pleasure of providing a child with a secure home. * The sweetness of knowing that we have helped save a life. * The excitement of investing in Israel’s future entrepreneurs. * The knowledge that we are Bunny Bramson SAH helping the greening of Israel and our world. * The glow and warmth that comes with improving and changing peoples’ lives. Today, the world is moving at the speed of light. Everything is being touched by this accelerat ed pace of change. No industry, no profession, no organiza tion can escape the long reach of the global eco nomic impact. We in Hadassah have weathered nearly 97 years and with each new generation, our will and our determination have never faltered. Hadassah has built a remarkable organiza tion from our early beginnings in 1912. Through all the years, strong and courageous women have volunteered their time, talent and resources to enhance the qual ity of Jewish and communal life in Israel and in the United States. Today, we continue to grow and prosper, reaching out in new and creative ways to women and fami lies, even as our core values hold trae and firm. Although a new year always brings change, we are grateful that some things remain constant in our lives. ^ ISN'T IT TIME FOR A CONVERSATION ABOUT YOUR ESTATE?
