Starting June 5, join us for Shabbat Services, Fridays at 6 PM and Saturdays at 11 AM in the Sam Lerner Cultural Arts Center at Shalom Park (please use the LJCC Main Entrance). * During business hours (8:30 AM-5 PM), please use the Blumenthal Entrance for the cler gy, administrative offices and gift shop. Offices for clergy and their administrative staff will reside in the corridor between the Bernstein Education Building and Levine-Sklut Judaic Library and Resource Center and in the Religious School office on the first floor. Other administrative staff will be located on the third floor of the Bernstein Education Building. In both cases, please use the Blumenthal Entrance (with the covered circular driveway), which will serve as Temple Beth El’s main entrance during construction. * Meetings and programs will generally take place in the Bernstein Education Building. Participants will enter via the Blumenthal Entrance (again, this entrance will serve as Temple Beth El’s main entrance). Room locations for all meetings and programs will be clearly posted at the entrance. * Temple Beth El’s Discovered Traditions Gift Shop will be opened Monday to Friday, 10 AM-3 PM, Sunday, 8:30 AM-1 PM, and Friday after Shabbat services and is located inside the Blumenthal Entrance to the Levine JCC. ■ b * Our phone number and website will remain the same dur ing the transition and construction: www.beth-el.com and 704-366-1948. His hobbies include making wooden toys for children and tea chests for adults. Julius also made two Aronei Kodeshs for the TI Religious School. In addition, he loans out a full size baby cradle when he’s apprised of a birth. He is involved in the selections of candidates to be honored on the Jewish Wall of Fame in the Sandra and Leon Levine Jewish Community Center and is instru mental in raising the funds needed to maintain a continuity of exhibits. Irving Beinstock celebrated his 70th anniversary of his Bar Mitzvah on May 23. Originally from Dortmund, Germany, his first Bar Mitzvah was held on June 24, 1939 in Amsterdam, Holland. He has been a member of Temple Israel for 34 years and is presently serving on the Board of Trustees. He is a Co-President of the TI Social Club, a Committee Member of the TI Personnel Committee, and Past Chairman of Points of View and Treasurer of the Charlotte Yiddish Institute. Irving enjoys playing bridge, working on the computer, and being active in holocaust educa tion. ^ The Temple Israel Social Club The Temple Israel Social Club, for active couples and singles, invites you to join our social group.
