Myths and Realities: Temple Israel and Dual Faith Families November 19 at 7:30 PM Temple Israel will host an evening of discussion about the myths and realities of dual faith families within Temple Israel. Many misconceptions float through the community. Temple Israel will address the reality of dual faith family memberships. Temple Israel has been involved with the Keruv movement within the Conservative Movement since it began in 2000. In fact. Rabbi Murray Ezring provided the keynote addresses at the International Convention of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs in Toronto that year as the official kickoff to create a new under standing within the movement. Since then, he has been on the faculty for programs throughout the country from NY to CA and from FL to Canada. Myths and Realities will answer questions about member ship, participation at life cycle events and special services, and how those about to create a dual faith family receive the blessings of our synagogue family. All are welcome to come and leam about the reality of life at Temple Israel. Please join us. The program is open to the entire community and free of charge.
