Roberta was instrumental in creating the chapter, along with Karen Marshall and Charlotte Miller, and became its first President in the year 2007-08. She continued as Co-President the following year with Karen Marshall, and served on the Region Board. Roberta has been totally committed to assur ing that the chapter continues and grows. She continues to serve as Programming Chair, and started and continues as chair of the monthly book club. She’s a nurse by profession and serves on the Lake Norman Jewish Congregation’s Caring Committee, offering strength and help to its congregants in time of need.
