I have gathered and donated books to the library in Givat Olga, an underprivileged neighborhood in Hadera. The library is a great place for kids to meet and socialize after school; therefore, it keeps them off the streets and out of trouble. We have collected over 500 books and plan to send them over to Israel in the next month. We have also raised $ 1,800 for the library in cash donations for people who could not travel with books. I am so excited to visit Israel and Givat Olga with my family this summer and meet all the kids at the library. ^ (Julia is the daughter of Liz and Brad Winer) THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 24 The Main Event of the 2011 Annual Campaign 7:30 PM, Temple Israel Special Guest Speaker: Dennis Prager, distinguished speaker, radio talk show host, columnist and author.
