Thank you for making the Levine-Sklut Judaie Library a priority in your Jewish life. « Imagine being an avid reader your whole life and little-by-little, it beeomes ehallenging to read the words on the page of a typieal book. Large print books make it possible for readers with impaired eyesight to eontinue to enjoy their lifelong passion for literature. The Levine-Sklut Judaie Library is proud to eontinue to inerease its eolleetion of large print books. The library has just purehased sev eral large print books through the eontinued generosity of Dr. Miehael Rotberg. In addition to serving the readers who ean visit the library, we have reeently intro- dueed a “book mobile” program with Jewish Family Serviees. JFS is taking large print books to Sunrise and other senior residents that may enjoy books. Speeial thanks to Dr. Miehael Rotberg. On the other end of the speetrum, our youngest library patrons are just beginning to learn to read. The Levine-Sklut Judaie Library has two exeellent eolleetions of ehildren’s books to meet their growing needs. One eolleetion eonsists of Jewish ehildren’s books. The other eonsists of ehil dren’s books, whieh are part of a eollaborative eolleetion between the Charlotte Jewish Day Sehool and the Levine-Sklut Judaie Library. This seeular eol leetion ineludes pieture books, books on a wide variety of topies as well as leveled books for begin ning readers. The library reeently expanded the CJDS eolleetion by purehasing many new books. We are grateful to CJDS for sharing this rieh resouree with the entire eommunity.
