FOR SUMMER 2012 WWW.CAMPJUDAEA.ORG Meet the Board of Trustees of The Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community Learn What The Foundation Does to Help Our Community By Phil Warshauer, Executive Director, The Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community The Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community is the non-profit organization in the greater Charlotte region dedicated to raising and managing long-term charitable resources to sustain the quality of Jewish religion, life, and culture by linking our donors’ philanthropic intent with the needs of the community. One of the challenges we face in promoting and facilitating long term philanthropy is helping oth ers to fully understand our organi zation’s role and the services we provide. This is complicated by the fact that community founda tions provide a wide range of services that are as varied as the donors and community partners they serve. While one donor knows us for one thing, another knows us for something else. The Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community, listed below, is committed to serve the needs of our community. Each one of them is a dedicated and active member of our Jewish community. They understand our foundation’s role of helping to secure our communi ty’s financial security and are determined and focused on pro moting this mission. The Foundation for the Charlotte Jewish Community is driven by both the donors we serve and their interests to sustain the future of their favorite Jewish organizations. Our goal is to reach as many members of our commu nity as we can and engage each of them in a personal and meaningful conversation.
