Library
December is Jewish Book
Month and this year the Levine-
Sklut Judaic Library is proud to
bring to Charlotte the wonderful
Jewish children’s author, Tilda
Balsley. Balsley’s books include:
Maccabee! The Story of
Hanukkah, The Queen Who Saved
Her People, and Let My People
Go!
On Sunday, December 4, the
library will kick-off Jewish Book
Month with a few events that you
do not want to miss.
* Preschool Storytime at 11 AM
(as part of Mensch ‘N More) will
take place with a reading of a
Chanukah story and activities (free
and open to all).
* Book Signing with Tilda
Balsley at noon
* “Tilda Talks” at 1 PM. Ms.
Balsley will do a book talk and tell
children what is involved with
writing a book. This program is
designed for 3rd, 4th, and 5th
grade students (free and open to
all).
The Levine-Sklut Judaic
Library Book Fair will be on
going from December 1-16. Please
consider doing your Chanukah
shopping in the library. ^

We have a total of 50 students

Purposes and Rhythms of Jewish
Living as well as Ethics and
Dramas of Jewish Living. For
