to Find the Hidden Link Between
Spirituality and Your Work. Salkin
speeializes in bringing the wis
dom of Torah to the daily and
modem lives of Jews today.
On Friday, Febmary 17 at Beth
El’s 8 PM serviee. Rabbi Salkin
will share a sermon entitled “A
Date With God” through whieh he
will share the mystieal, most sean-
dalous and most seintillating
images of our liturgy. On Shabbat
morning, February 18 at 10 AM,
Rabbi Salkin will lead a Torah
study entitled “The Gods Are
Broken” through whieh he will
show how Abraham’s shattering
of his father’s idols shaped the
Jewish response to the world.
Rabbi Jeffrey Salkin graduated
from State University of New
York at Purehase with a Baehelor
of Arts in soeiology. In 1981, he
was ordained at Hebrew Union
College-Jewish Institute of
Religion in New York before
pursuing his Doetor of Ministry
at Prineeton Theologieal
Seminary. ^

thanking God for this great mira-
ele and enjoying a great feast with
friends and family.
A big western Purim feast will
take plaee at Ohr HaTorah on
Thursday evening 6 PM with bar-
beeue and all the hot trimmings.
There will be a saloon with beer
(for the adults only) with many
western props deeorating the hall.
Cost for Thursday evening feast is
$18 per person and $10 per ehild
12 and younger.
