A New Home for Chabad
of Ballantyne
The new Chabad house in Ballantyne.
After a long wait we exeited to
announee the purehase of a new
home for Chabad of Ballantyne
now renamed the Ballantyne
Jewish Center. The new loeation is
at 8632 Bryant Farms Rd. in the
heart of the Ballantyne and
Blakeney areas.
Chabad of Ballantyne has been
serving the Ballantyne Jewish
Community for four years with
many Jewish edueational and
soeial programs. Chabad seeks to
strengthen the Jewish identity of
the Ballantyne area Jewish eom-
munity and to ensure Jewish eon-
tinuity among all Jews who reside
in this area and beyond. Chabad’s
programs inelude: Shabbat servie-
es, story hour for ehildren, Friday
night dinners, holiday eelebra-
tions, a vibrant Hebrew Sehool,
enriehment elasses, adult eduea-
tion, women’s program, Bar and
Bat Mitzvah lessons, and mueh
more.
We are looking forward to
using the eenter’s new loeation
for our Hebrew Sehool, syna
gogue serviees, adult edueation
and inereased programming in
all areas. Our aetivities have
grown in popularity during the
last four years and the new
loeation will allow us to
inerease our programs to meet the
growing demand.
