The Levine-Sklut Judaic Library held a summer reading challenge called “I Scream for Books” was a big success. To date, over 70 children read twelve or more books and won an ice cream cone. (See below for picture of the first child to complete the program!) There has been so much posi tive feedback that the library has decided to create a reading pro gram for Fall 2012. The new pro gram will be called “Be a Smart Cookie” and children can cam cookies for participating.
