Charlotte Symphony Names Interim Executive Director Bob Stickler to Lead Orchestra During Search Process Rich Osborne Will Lead Search Committee The Charlotte Symphony Exeeutive Committee and Board of Direetors announees today that Bob Stickler will assume the position of Interim Exeeutive Direetor. Stiekler, a eurrent Charlotte Symphony board member, is reeently retired from Bank of Ameriea having served as Communieations Exeeutive supporting Ken Lewis, former Bank of Ameriea President. In his tasks on behalf of the Charlotte Symphony, Stiekler has worked insightfully and effeetive- ly. Stiekler was President of the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte Board of Direetors from 2008 through 2010 and has served on various eommittees within the organization. “Anything he undertakes is Bob Stickler done in a straightfor ward, eommitted, and upbeat way and his positive attitude is eon- tagious,” says Emily Smith, Chairperson of the Charlotte Symphony Board of Direetors. “I am eer- tain that Bob will lead us through this interim period in great form and am delighted to weleome him to this position.” Stiekler replaees outgoing Exeeutive Direetor Jonathan Martin, who has been with the organization sinee 2008.
