Through the hard work of eommunity leaders and the gra- eiousness of the trustee and founding family of Calvary Presbyterian Chureh, Bobby and Pearl Overeash, Temple Kol Tikvah will eall the former ehureh at 605 Delburg Street home. “This is a huge milestone, not just for the Jewish eommunity, but for the entire Lake Norman eom munity. People in Davidson and the surrounding areas have always weleomed us with open arms. Having a permanent home now gives us the plaee from whieh we ean also eontribute to the larger eommunity in a more meaningful and eonsistent way,” eommented the temple’s eo-president, Slade Goldstein. “We always dreamed of having our own plaee to worship, but dreams don’t just happen. We are truly grateful and humbled by the amount of support and guidanee we have reeeived from our mem bers and Davidson eommunity leaders,” noted eo-president, Len Sadek. Plans for the up-fit are still being finalized but are expeeted to begin around September 1 and end no later than February 1, 2013.
