WPN Opening Event on
Tuesday, August 28 sponsored

Shalom Bayit- NC, designed to
ereate awareness for domestie
abuse. In addition, Jill eneour-
aged members to help WPN ree-
ognize Domestie Violenee
month by bringing “Books,
Blankets, and Teddy Bears” to
the next meeting whieh will be
held Oetober 25 at Shalom Park.
The items will be donated to the
Battered Women’s Shelter.

Women’s Philanthropy for the
Jewish Federation, introdueed
Arlene Goldstein, Viee-
President of Trend Marketing
and Fashion Direetion for Belk,
Ine. Arlene engaged the audi-
enee with her Top Ten Looks for
Fall, and introdueed Jodi Riley,
global make-up artist for Laura
Mereier eosmeties. Together
they offered make up and fash
ion tips and took three of
WPN’s own models from “day
to night” by adding aeeessories
and eosmeties. Speeial thanks
go to our three beautiful models:

Dr. Laura Rosensweig.
