Rabbi Levanon brings to Kol Ami nearly 30 years of eollege- level teaehing experienee in Jew ish Medieval Flistory, Flebrew Language, Literature, and Biblieal Studies from six eolleges and uni versities, ineluding Brandeis, Northern Illinois, and University of Wiseonsin, among others, and 17 years as the Rabbi at Congre gation Beth Israel in Fayetteville, NC from whieh he retired earlier this year. Rabbi Levanon will start this wonderful weekend on Friday evening, with Kabbalat Shabbat starting at 7 PM. On Saturday morning, we will have a Torah study session titled “The Jewish Passion for Repairing the World” and “Message of the Book of Genesis.” Please join us in weleoming Rabbi Levanon to our pulpit on Friday and Saturday and partake in his worship serviees, sermons, and elasses.
