Sophomore U. of South Carolina, Elementary Ed. This pa&f spRlng, I spent seveRal weeks student te^^chlng at UDS. I was thrilled to work with many of the same teachers who had cultivated my own love of learning. In fact, my dream of becoming a teacher first took root in my second grade year at GDS, That dream is now blossoming for me, as I pursue a college degree in Elementary Education, As a student at CJDS, I enjoyed a stimuiatlng iearning environment which encouraged creativity, independence, and a passion for Judaism. When I ieft CJDS, I was weii prepared for middle school. It is so satisfying to witness today's kids benefitting from those very same qualities.
