It is also one the most eumber- some with all of its laws and re- strietions. It takes a lot of preparation and hard work to make Passover a sueeess. Ohr FlaTorah will provide a pre- Passover elass on the laws of Passover, ineluding instruetion on to purge the house from ehametz and how to eonduet the Seder. The elass will take plaee Tuesday Mareh 12, 7:30-9 PM. A nominal fee of $ 10 to eover the eost of ma terial. Passover this year begins on Monday Mareh 25, in the evening with the first Seder. There are many important Passover Mitzvot that begin earlier in the day, that help us transition in to the Pesaeh holiday. We may eat ehametz on Mon day Mareh 25 until 11:25 AM. We burn the ehametz by 12:26 Clongregation MaTorah a project pj LutxJvifch of Ncrfii Carolina PM. By then all of our ehametz should have been sold by the Rabbi or disearded in the proper way. The day before Passover is fast of the first born. On Monday morning, a Siyum (eonelusion of a traetate of Talmud) will be eon- dueted by Rabbi Yossi Groner at Ohr FlaTorah. The purpose of the Siyum is to help the first bom avoid the fasting on this day. The logie behind this is that only a feast of mitzvah ean override the fast. When a Talmudie traetate is eoneluded it triggers the need for a feast of Mitzvah. The Siyum will follow the morning serviee at 7:30 AM.« Temple Israel Passover Events Passover 2013 begins in the evening of Monday, Mareh 25, and ends in the evening of Tues day, April 2.
