Reeently, it was announeed that a new eommunity would be forming under the name Kehillat OHARLOT7E of Congregation Kehillat Char lotte, a trans-denominational eon- gregation that is taking a new approaeh to Judaism in Charlotte. “The name Kehillat Charlotte is indieative of what we hope to be- eome as a eommunity; reaehing out to everyone and espeeially reaehing out to those Jews who are unaffiliated. We want to ereate an intimate Jewish prayer experi- enee, a plaee where peoples’ spir ituality is nurtured and eared for, and a plaee where everyone is made to feel weleomed and in- eluded,” said Rabbi Riehard Chizever, who is helping to or ganize and lead the fledgling eon- gregation.
