Charlotte BBYO Wishes Everyone a
Happy and Healthy New Year
Charlotte BBYO’s teens and
staff are exeited for the upeoming
programming year. BBYO’s mis
sion is “More Jewish Teens, More
Meaningful Jewish Experienees.”
BBYO’s is a pluralistie move
ment of Jewish teens, alumni,
parents, volunteers, and philan
thropists who serve as the Jewish
eommunity’s most valuable plat
form for delivering to the post-
Bar/Bat Mitzvah audienee fun,
meaningful and affordable expe
rienees that inspire a lasting
eonneetion to the Jewish people.
In Charlotte, BBYO has two
girls’ ehapters and two boys’
ehapters with over 200 mem
bers. Our ehapters meet on
Tuesday nights at the Levine
JCC from 7-8:30 PM and also
have loeal weekend events.
Eaeh BBYO ehapter has volun
teer advisors that work with the
ehapter leadership. The teens in

So what is BBYO about?
BBYO is a plaee for Jewish
teens to eall home. It is also a
plaee for teens to develop their
leadership skills by planning
programs and serving their eom-
munities. Finally, it is a great
plaee to explore Judaism and
make lifelong friends. Eaeh year,
teens in BBYO ehapters have
many opportunities to plan, im
plement and partieipate in great
aetivities.
