Join us for these community events: * Friday, November 8 at 7 PM - Shabbat worship services with the sermon presented by URJ President Rabbi Rick Jacobs, fol lowed by a festive oneg. * Saturday, November 9 at 11 AM - Rabbi Jacobs participates in the Congregational Shabbat serv ice, followed by a Kiddush Luncheon (RSVP required). Rabbi Rick Jacobs was in stalled as President of the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) in June 2012. He spent 20 years as a dy namic, visionary spiritual leader at Westchester Reform Temple (WRT) in Scarsdale, New York. Ordained in 1982 by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York, he has re shaped communal worship, trans formed the congregation into a community of lifelong learners, and strengthened the synagogue's commitment to vibrancy and in clusion.
