Honoring the Two Roses
Saturday, June 7, 9:30am during Shabbat Services
Temple Israel is proud to honor two of its dedicated volunteers.
Rose Luski & Rose Weisman. With over 5 decades of tireless
dedication, the "Two Roses" helped expand the Sisterhood
Judaic Gift Shop and in doing so raised hundreds of thousands
of dollars for the benefit of Temple Israel. Their untiring efforts
and leadership rallied a strong network of volunteers and
inspired many. We hope you will join us in saying, "Thank You!’
ADULT EDUCATION CLASSES
Personal Spirituality: The Path of 100 Blessings
Saturdays, June 14 and June 21, I pm
Led by Rabbi Murray Ezring
Through this class, we will explore mystical enlightment, as
we seek to experience God’s presence in this world and to live
a life of Jewish value.
Other thought-provoking summer adult education classes will
be taught by Rabbi Raucher and Cantor Roochvaarg. Visit

REQUEST for TEACHER APPLICATIONS
We're looking for exciting, dynamic teachers who love
children and Judaism and are eager to innovate and learn
new methodologies. Classes meet Sundays, 9:15am-12:15pm,
September 14, 2014 - mid-May 2015. There are openings in
Hebrew and Judaics, as well as openings for leaders for
High Holy Day children’s programs.

synagogues

• Hands-On Learning, Service Projects and Experiential
Family Education
• Technology use such as Prayer Apps for individualized
home extensions
• Differentiated Learning available Monday-Thursday for
extra help or to accelerate learning
