Sueeessful inereases were aehieved within our affinity groups: * two new or reeovered Major Donor Families ($10,000 per household) * six new or reeovered Lions of Judah ($5,000 to Women’s Phi lanthropy) * nine new or recovered mem bers of the Pomegranate Society ($1,800 to Women’s Philan thropy) * seven new or recovered members of the Ben-Gurion Soci ety ($1,000+ from households ages 21-45) * 17 new or recovered mem bers of Impact365 Club (for households ages 21^5) * 25 new “Create a Jewish Legacy” donors Increased gifts outnumbered decreases 3:1. Team Competitions encour aged solicitors to complete their cards in a timely manner and to meet face-to-face with commu nity members. Face-to-face solic itations increased by 48%. An Evening with Jason Alexander and His Hair is a comedy variety show that features stand-up comedy, music, improv isation, and audience participa tion. Jason Alexander portrayed the much loved character George Costanza from the hit show Sein- Jason’s Broadway debut came in the original production of Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along. Alexander starred on Broadway five times, eventually hired to write the libretto for Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, in which he also played 14 different characters and which won him the Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Tony Awards. Audiences have enjoyed his many stage perform ances, most notably his acclaimed run alongside Martin Short in Mel Brook’s The Producers. Jason’s film credits include box office smash hit Pretty Woman, Shallow Hal, The Ad ventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, North, and The Paper. Alexanders’ other television works include guest starring on the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm and Dream On for which he was nominated for an Emmy. Jason has been hon ored many times for his South STATE BANK dedication to the arts, these awards include winning a Tony Award, an American Television Award, two American Comedy Awards, Screen Actors Guild Best Actor Award, the Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement by the Actors Fund, seven Emmy nominations, and four Golden Globe nominations.
