Here are just a few: * Forget everything you thought that you knew about Core Classes. This year we are re ally mixing things up, with new subjeets, new groupings, and lots of fun. * The unveiling of Hebrew III - five of our Hebrew seholars have reeeived eredit for Hebrew at their CMS High Sehools and are ready to begin a new level of study. In this very speeial elass, students are given an oppor tunity to express their ideas and feelings about Judaism and Israel in a non-judgmental eom munity of peers. This is es- peeially important at this time, when our young adults are being ehallenged on eampuses everywhere. * Amazing faeulty - Rabbis, Cantors, and pro fessional teaehers all help make our sehool a weleom- ing and earing environment. These amazing role models help students learn how to balanee their seeular and Jewish lives. Sehool is baek in session and so is BBYO. The largest pluralis- tie Jewish youth movement in the world, BBYO offers high sehool students the opportunity to feel eonfident in their Jewish identity, eonneet to Israel and the Global Jewish eommunity, lead others, improve the world, and ereate lasting friendships. Charlotte BBYO has over 200 members with four ehapters - two for boys and two for girls. The ehapters meet on Tuesday nights at the Levine JCC from 7-8:30 PM and also have weekend programming. Under the guidanee of their ehap- ter advisors, the BBYO teens plan and implement all of their Tues day night programs. We are eur- rently looking for a male and female advisor. The teens in Charlotte BBYO have several weekend eonven- tions during the sehool year where they have the opportunity to share experienees with other teens around North Carolina and in Southern Virginia.
